Jim became involved in supporting our team when Emma joined us. As a former police officer he was able to offer us considerable experience and knowledge of the emergency services and joined us a trustee. He recently decided that he would like to become a CFR as well and hopefully he will be on a training course soon. 

When Trustees decided that we should consider changing our responder car both because of its age and to better meet the challenges of extreme weather conditions, Jim agreed to manage this project and has successfully negotiated with dealerships and emergency conversion specialists to achieve an excellent outcome within a sensible financial budget. 

Having retired from the Police Service, he qualified as a first aid trainer and can now provide a range of courses including those required to meet Health and Safety requirements.
